Ardhanarishvara: the fundamental root of Advaitha. Ardhanarishvara is a combination of three words “Ardha,” “Nari,” and “Ishwara” means “half,” “woman,” and “lord,” respectively, which when combined means the lord whose half is a woman. It is believed that the God is Lord Shiva and the woman part is his consort Goddess Parvati or Adishakti. Ardhanarishvara represents the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies of the universe (Purusha and Prakriti) and illustrates how Maa Adishakti, the female principle of God, is inseparable from (or the same as, according to some interpretations) Lord Shiva, the male principle of God, and vice versa. Tanot Mata Mandir and Indo - Pak Border Today I found my Rajasthan trip pics that we visited last December ( 2023).No no... I am not giving details of our trip; neither I share all our pics to bore whoever is seeing my post,  nor I give details of Rajasthan tourism, as all can get online in details!! I wanted to show my son Provab and husband Balaji the historic place is  "Tanot Mata Mandir" and Indo pak Border, i.e., Thar desert ( Jiyai, Cholistan Desert, Jaisalmer). As per the oldest Charan literature, Tanot Mata is an incarnation of divine Goddess Hinglaj Mata and as many other Goddesses of the region such as Temde Rai, Karni Mata, Deg Rai and Khodiyar etc. She was also born in Charan caste and lived her life as warrior sage; thus Tanot Mata is a Goddess of War. Self realization    I am thankful for detour and roadblocks as they protect me from paths and places not meant for me...I know that everything happens for reasons!  I want back my old safe West Bengal! I don't know my this West Bengal.... I am a proud bengali and proud of my parents who groomed me as a human; yes, no gender biasness in my family. The "breast tax" was a poll tax called Mulakkaram that was imposed on women from lower caste communities in the Kingdom of Travancore in British-ruled India. The tax was imposed on women from the Nadar and Ezhava castes, among others. And, the tax was not applicable to upper caste women.
