Elevated Corridor? Beda, Beda

Image
Pic: Cut-out from Bangalore Times, The Times Of India Elevated Corridor : Beda, Beda, Beda.... It's look nice that we started realizing the importance of Earth. Atleast Bangaloreans do. We, Bangalorean, clean lakes, planted more & more trees, trying to protect other living creatures. We don't wait to see  what authority is doing. We prefer to dirty our own hand to take care of Earth. Yesterday morning,  I witnessed another protest to save "Garden City". By chanting " Beda, beda", several hundreds of people include kids, teens, adults and even elders and some of their different pets, gathered at the Gandhi Statue at Sheshadri Road to protest the government's 100km Elevated Corridor what is slated to flatten 120 trees in Cubbon Park and many others in the city. The gathering was quite star-studded and got great media coverage too. Some of them said how they used to wear sweater throughout the year in the city in past years , but now we all...

Exhausted

Image
My Skin responds adversely in this scorching  heat. Even Bangalore is humid now.... all the effects of wrong doing ( axeing the trees, increasing concrete jungles day by day)... I am sweting with exhaustion and feel like ants crippling movement through my spinal line   at back. Searching for clouds to check if rain god listen our prayer and is preparing for cool shower to the earth or not..... but I found a loner candy size little white cloud in the indigo sky.... Ohh GOD!!!!

WOMAN: a journey from Womb to Mankind

Image
WOMAN : a journey from Womb to Mankind.                                       We all are talking about empowering women, whereas we all forget that we all nurtured & grew by the  ambidextrous One , whom we call lovingly  Maa, Mom, Mamma, Amma, Mother, Ayee, etc. etc.  .....( according to our choice) Terrific to nothing, hopeless to everything  or genious to dumb , selfish to humanity..... whatever we are, were and will , thanks to our those ambidextrous ONE who sacrificed herself to build us strong to say today " let's take a resolution to make the women empowered to teach them raising their voice".... Instead of empowering women (as they are selfmade empowered creatures by the grace of nature's miracle law) , please focus to empower our humanity to save earth by respect , with respect and of respect. # We are strong enough to digest all humility and move forw...

Devasted population

Image
Vast Lands Devasted by Huge Populations! Me and my husband are best buddies to argue over the one point each time. Yesterday suddenly my husband asked me why the ancient great, enriched civilizations are comparatively backward as of now? What are the reasons? I am a simple apolitical housewife.  I tried to explain through my over- the-time experience.  At the end of each revolution, civilizations and corporations attain a plateau of comfort. They have too much at stake underlying nice infrastructure to attempt a new revolution.  The new revolution could shake heavily. Indians, live in unity in diversity, had lot of scopes of really good manufacturing that was not just industrialization.  They produced the fine textiles, but scoffed at cheap stuff produced by mechanization. Their brainchild production of ayurvedic concepts of herbal medicines , spices that patented and imported from abroad..... so on... By the time they real...

Bongs favourite @ Durga Puja

Image
Bongs grand celebrations : Durga Puja! Lot of speculations are around the country why the BONGS start celebrating  (as I intentionally avoid the word worship) Durga Puja from Sashthi to Dashami!! It's funny to explain as many of us even don't know the details of Navaratri , i.e. DEVIPAKSHA!! According to religious belief   Durga Puja is known by different names and it  is being celebrated in different ways - Navaratri, Durga Ashtami, Maha Navami, Saraswati Puja, Dussehra, Ramleela , Akalbodhan and Vijayadashami. Devi is worshiped in three different forms of Durga, next three days as Lakshmi and the last three days as Saraswathi. The 10th day is called Vijayadashami.  We Bongs stand apart from crowd proudly..... more than devotion, meaningless so called strict rituals, we prefer to celebrate this, as ocasion to get together among scattered family members , friends and enj...

Maa Durga : symbol of empowerment

Image
Maa DURGA : symbol of empowerment twitter: mbandyop@gmail.com   facebook @ provabteetan@yahoo.com                                          Maa DURGA : symbol of empowerment Maa DURGA!! She symbolises   empowerment among people! She comes for the realisation of the meaning of “ Fittest Survive”.   It’s our fundamental right to survive freely,   personally and   professionally at home, working place and even in the society. But nothing comes to you easily!! The practice of gaining freedom and power to do what you want or to control what happens to you is the empowerment. To me,   Maa Durga is that PRACTICE to gain empowerment to fight back against to all devils (i.e. Mahisasur) ; that can be personal i.e. domestic violence, harassment at workplace, bu...
